We are very impressed with this Sport Karate Chest Protector. Designed by 9-time Martial Arts World Champion Christine Bannon-Rodrigues for Macho, it is ultra lightweight and provides the best mobility of any chest guard. Protection and shock-resistance comes from a special high-density 1" thermoformed polyethylene segmented pad. Above-the-hip, contoured design reduces chest guard displacement when holding chamber position. The back is open for maximum ventilation, and the clasp system is simple and can be done up by the fighter in seconds without help. NASKA-Approved for competition use. This is a great chest guard. Tips for Proper Fit:

Width of your chest is measured flat - from left to right. The ends of the chest guard should cover your sides - the back is open. The straps are adjustable in the back.
